Chuck is a dedicated public servant who takes election integrity seriously. After the 2020 elections, he knew he had to take action and asked to serve on the Special Committee on Election Integrity. Chuck worked tirelessly with his colleagues to draft and pass SB 202, which made it easier for citizens to cast their legal votes and harder for people to cheat. 

Chuck remains committed to strengthening our voting laws so your vote counts. In the most recent session, he voted to safeguard elections further, providing visible watermarks on ballots, counting without the QR code, and more secure ballot handling.

RETURNING MONEY TO YOU & LOWERING YOUR TAXES

Chuck voted to return money to each tax-paying citizen, refunding Georgians a total of over one billion dollars. Chuck also voted to suspend the gas tax to cut prices by $.29/gallon, and he was a lead co-sponsor of HB 1437 to lower your state income tax rate, saving Georgians another one billion dollars annually. Next session, Chuck will remain focused on delivering results for you, and he is committed to defending our community against Washington's bad policies that cost our families.

A product of the Fulton County Schools, Chuck cares deeply that every student in our community is afforded the same opportunity that he had to learn in a supportive, safe environment. His wife, Johnna, was a teacher’s assistant for 17 years in our local schools, so Chuck understands firsthand what is needed for our students to receive an excellent education.
