SECURING YOUR VOTE & IMPROVING ELECTION INTEGRITY

Following the 2020 elections, Chuck asked to serve on the Special Committee on Election Integrity. He helped write and pass SB 202 to make it easier to cast legal votes and harder to cheat in Georgia.  He pushed for more improvements in 2022 to further strengthen our voting laws and he expects to pass additional improvements next session.

RETURNING MONEY TO YOU & LOWERING YOUR TAXES

Chuck voted to return money to each tax-paying citizen, refunding Georgians a total of over one billion dollars. Chuck also voted to suspend the gas tax to cut prices by $.29/gallon, and he was a lead co-sponsor of HB 1437 to lower your state income tax rate, saving Georgians another one billion dollars annually. Next session, Chuck will remain focused on delivering results for you, and he is committed to defending our community against Washington's bad policies that cost our families.

DEFENDING HOPE & ZELL MILLER SCHOLARSHIPS

Chuck will never back down on protecting and strengthening the HOPE and Zell Miller Scholarships for our children and grandchildren. As the Chairman of the House Higher Education Committee, no one is better positioned than Chuck to increase accessibility to education after high school and protect merit-based scholarships across our state.

ENHANCING EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES

A product of the Fulton County Schools, Chuck cares deeply that every student in our community is afforded the same opportunity that he had to learn in a supportive, safe environment. His wife, Johnna, was a teacher’s assistant for 17 years in our local schools, so Chuck understands firsthand what is needed for our students to receive an excellent education.
