ABOUT CHUCK
An Alpharetta native and Milton High School graduate, Chuck earned his BBA from the University of Georgia. He served as an Alpharetta Councilmember and Mayor before representing House District 49 in the state legislature. He and his wife, Johnna, raised two sons and now have five grandchildren.
Chuck built his career in consulting and business process reengineering, including years as a Director at Ryan, LLC, the nation's largest independent tax consulting firm.
Chuck is a respected leader and trusted voice at the State Capitol, and as Chairman of the House Higher Education Committee, he is known for protecting the
HOPE Scholarship, sponsoring Georgia's first statewide needs-based scholarship, DREAMS, and the medical school scholarship program now training more Georgia doctors for Georgia communities
He led the legislative committee that shaped HR 1243, the bipartisan Next Generation 9-1-1 amendment that will be on the ballot in November - he delivers real results for the families of Alpharetta, Roswell, and Milton.
